The Grand National Meeting

The John Smith's Grand National Meeting at Aintree racecourse offers 3 superb days of racing action with each race over the Grand National fences. In 2008 joint favourite Comply or Die held off a strong challenge from King Johns Castle taking victory by four lengths. 2008 also saw the launch to great acclaim of our brand new and exclusive facility, Paddock Lodge. Ladies' Day at the John Smith's Grand National Meeting takes place on Friday 3rd April and is a fantastic day out that should not be missed. Women from all over the country bring a touch of elegance to the event with a range of elaborate fashion styles on display. Be apart of one the most colourful days in the horse racing calendar, where fashion and horse racing go hand in hand.
 
Paddock Lodge is ideally located overlooking the Parade Ring and is only a short walk to the Earl of Derby Stand ensuring you soak up all of the Aintree atmosphere. We are delighted to be able to offer tables for 12 people over two floors with private areas, available upon request.
